As a newcomer in the UK, nothing can ever beat the mixed feeling of excitement and stress of the first day of work. But I would say, working with Wentworth Life Science, I felt relaxed, welcomed, with constant support, professionalism and a friendly environment. Also, as a working Mum, it’s important that they offered me to work on a flexible schedule that fit my family needs. They inspire me to step up professionally. Tom showed great leadership and shared endless tips. I learned recruitment strategies, grew my connection and met great people in Life Sciences. It was very rewarding to be a part of the team and continue my passion within the healthcare industry. KUDOS to the team, particularly Naïs and James, that made my entire internship a lot easier than I imagined. Wentworth Life sciences offered me an incredible opportunity to develop some professional and interpersonal skills during lockdown. The team was extremely friendly and welcoming and I felt right at home from the start! I was able to tailor my internship to fit my schedule, which allowed me to make better use of my free time while still leaving plenty of time for my university studies. I believe this experience gave me a unique insight into the Life Sciences industry and a taste of the processes involved in recruitment and sourcing, which I am sure will benefit me greatly in future job hunts and applications. I was able to learn more about international markets, develop my French language skills, as well as receive some much-needed advice on how to improve my LinkedIn profile – all in a very fun and relaxed environment which eased my worries about entering the professional world. It felt rewarding knowing I was playing a small role in helping people reach their target jobs or helping companies carrying out such meaningful work find the right employees. I cannot express how grateful I am for this opportunity Tom offered me and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn new skills and improve existing ones in a motivating and enjoyable setting!
